On the morning of April 10th, the 2nd CQUST Sports Culture Festival and Spring Track and Field Games officially commenced at the Lide Sports Zone. All university leaders, along with heads of secondary units, attended the opening ceremony. Vice President Liu Deshao presided over the event, while Party Secretary Li Delong declared the games open.

The ceremony began with the National Flag Guard marching in unison, setting a solemn tone. Subsequently, the Games Emblem and Logo Squad strode confidently past the rostrum, followed by the Colorful Flag Squad waving vibrant banners, the Balloon Squad releasing dream-symbolizing balloons, and the Wreath Squad holding radiant floral hoops—together crafting a vivid tapestry of youthful energy. Sixteen college squads entered the field one after another, each presenting unique displays that captivated the audience. Some squads donned professional attire showcasing their academic strengths; others showcased innovative spirit with signature props; still others demonstrated dynamic formations, embodying the spirit of youth. With synchronized strides, resounding chants, and creative performances, they fully embodied the vibrant and enterprising spirit of CQUST students while highlighting the university’s fruitful achievements in its "Three-Pronged Approach to Holistic Education" (integrating moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education).
Spanning two days, this track and field extravaganza features multiple events, including sprints, long-distance races, long jump, high jump, shot put, and more. Competitions are divided into four categories: Male Student Group, Female Student Group, Male Faculty Group, and Female Faculty Group, with nearly a thousand faculty and students poised for intense competition.
