On December 6th, the founding meeting of Chongqing Higher Education Association Engineering Training Council was held in Haiqin Hotel.

Delegates deliberated and adoptedThe Administrative Measures of Chongqing Higher Education Association Engineering Training Council (for Trial Implementation)andThe Election Measures of Chongqing Higher Education Association Engineering Training Council,and the first Director, Deputy Director and council members were elected. Chongqing University of Science and Technology was elected as the Director unity, and Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing University of Technology, Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences were elected as the Deputy Director units, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing Technology and Business University and other 16 institutions were elected as the council members.

Engineering Training Specialty Council of Chongqing Higher Education Association is a branch of Chongqing Higher Education Association. The Council aims to set up a platform for teaching and research exchange of engineering training in colleges and universities, serve the reform and development of engineering training teaching, promote the improvement of students' practical engineering competence and the cultivation of craftsman spirit.
