On July 21, the 15th National Commendation Conference for Heroes and Models of Courageous Justice was held in Beijing. Eight individuals and two groups were awarded the title of "National Hero of Courageous Justice." Among them was Wu Yingjie, a 2024 graduate of our university, who received this prestigious honor.

Wu Yingjie, male, of Han ethnicity, was born in September 2001. From 2020 to 2024, he studied Mechatronics Engineering at the School of Mechanical and Intelligent Manufacturing (formerly the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering) of our university. During his time at the university, he actively participated in campus affairs and served as a student journalist at the News Center of the Party Committee's Propaganda Department, contributing to campus publicity efforts and demonstrating outstanding moral character and a strong sense of responsibility.

Wu Yingjie has previously been honored with the title of "National Moral Model" and was named one of the "Top Ten Touching Figures of Chongqing." He has also been listed on authoritative commendation lists such as the Central Political and Legal Affairs Commission's "Q2 2023 List of Courageous Justice Warriors" and the "Chongqing Good People List." His latest recognition as a "National Hero of Courageous Justice" not only highly acknowledges his brave actions but also sets an example for all faculty and students of our university to follow.
