On the morning of September 15, the2020 postgraduate freshmen opening ceremony was held at the school indoor sports venue. Party Secretary of the University Li Delong, President Yin Huachuan, Deputy Secretary Gan Qin, college deans department heads, representatives of postgraduate advisors within outside the school, and all 2020 postgraduate freshmen attended the ceremony.

President Yin Huachuan, on behalf of all faculty members and students, expressed a warm welcome to the new postgraduate students of the class of 2020. He said that Chongqing University of Science and Technology is a great institution with heritage, strength, sentiments, and expectations.Students who have become a part of the big family will witness historical moments recording the transformation of the school.
